As we head into our 49th year as a Little League charter organization, we've got some exciting changes for the upcoming season! We reviewed the parent survey feedback and look forward to incorporating as much as we can, so thank you to those that responded and offered their ideas. In order to not make this too lengthy, I'm highlighting some of the bigger items being implemented.
§ Coaches for the 2021 season were asked to fill out evaluation forms on players to help balance rosters for 2022.
§ Concessions received several comments and we're hoping to bring some hot items back.
§ We are implementing a $100 volunteer buyout for the 2022 season. A number of feedback items we received, quite frankly, need more volunteer support. Contribute as a coach, board member, or 4 hours of concession/field/facility/special event help, receive your $100 back.
§ Now that we have further direction from the Village of Germantown on the DPW building and the Little League complex, various field/facility improvements have begun.
We hope these changes, along with some others, will bear some fruit come spring. There will still be some work left to do, the board knows that, but we'll keep chipping away at the punch list and work towards providing your son and/or daughter a fun, memory creating, baseball/softball experience!
