The Germantown Diamond Club (GTDC) is a not-for-profit organization formed to offer current Germantown Little League players an opportunity to play tournament type competition baseball and softball over and above the regular Little League play.Available for boys baseball (U9, U10, U11, U12, U13 and U14) and girls fast-pitch softball (U10, U12 and U14), the GTDC was established in 2005 and has grown in popularity ever since. The GTDC hosts an annual Memorial Day weekend baseball tournament, which typically draws 40-50 area teams competing in six age groups. Girl's softball tournaments are also held in late July. The success of the tournaments allows the GTDC to make a financial contribution to Germantown Little League for maintenance and improvements to the Little League grounds. In addition to the GTDC tournaments, the teams compete in several other weekend tournaments throughout the state. Since the GTDC is funded separately from Germantown Little League, participation fees along with time commitments do apply.
